Is it normal that my knees hurt often?

I don't have any past joint pain conditions or anything. But whenever I'm out with friends or at school I'm walking quite a lot. I walk to the train station and back home. And once I relax and sit down at home my knees (the INSIDE of my knees) ache so severely I feel like crying or sometimes throwing up. It's like I'm being stabbed and the knife is twisting or someone's got their hands IN my knees and moving their fingers.

Please help.

No, what the heck see a doctor! 2

Expensive running shoes. If that doesn't do it, see an orthopedist.

rheumatoid arthritis is curable 80 percent of the time by eliminating the right food. I was shocked to find a medical study because i had never heard of such a thing . do you own research im not your doctor

  • See a doctor. It sounds like early onset osteoarthritis.

Could be hEDS, if you're particularly flexible. That's how mine started - with knee pain. Get to a doc, and see if they think it's worthwhile to see a rheumatologist. If it continues, and your doctor is useless, just go see a rheumatologist by yourself.
    Good luck!

I've never had knee problems until 2 years ago. Went to a training site with my unit took us 5 hours to get there in the trucks. I got out at a rest stop and almost fell over had to hold the door to stay up. Ever since then my knees bothered me. Went to the doc and they said I had patella femoral syndrome. They didn't know how to make it feel better.
