Is it normal that my mucinosis is spreading?

Hi everyone, I'm an 18 year old girl who waa diagnosed with follicular mucinosis type 1 some months ago. I'm healthy, but some weird plaques started showing up on my skin, near my bum. The doctor said it was mucinosis and I've been putting on some creams but the mucinosis has spread and now I have it in my arm and back. What can I do? No one seems to know what causes it and I'm really worried :(

I live in Mexico at the moment but was wondering if I could move soon to treat this problem.

        You're very welcome, I always feel for people with skin disorders, because they are so painful and disfiguring disfiguring.
