Is it normal that my old way of talking comes back when i'm angry?

I live in a not so nice area and everyone here, would talk in a ghetto way. I kind of trained myself to no longer talk that way back in 2006 when I needed a job after graduating high school.

However, in those rare occasions when I get really angry, that old way of talking seems to come back. When I'm no longer angry, my mouth just goes back to talking the way I do now. Is it normal?

Strong emotions make you forget the accent you’ve trained yourself to have

Yes, it's like when Ricky Ricardo gets mad, and starts talking in Spanish.

Powerful emotions cause one to revert to the accent one has had the longest time.

I have spent almost my whole adult life living in various different countries, all of them very far away from my birthplace. My accent is very faded by now, but when I get angry or drunk it all comes back. People comment on it.
