Is it normal that my roommate always remembers his dreams?

The other day, I was talking with my roommate, and he told me about a dream. Then, we started discussing dreams. He said that every night he dreams and the next day he always remembers the dream clearly.

I was amazed. I've never heard of that before and I was wondering if it is normal. He also said that his dreams are normally first person and he never or rarely has "out of body" dreams.

Sounds like he has a well functioning brain. The only way I can remember my dreams is if I take Rodiola Rosea (Goldenfoot).

  • This is generally a sign of poor sleep quality; people who remember their dreams usually do so due to frequently waking up throughout the night (though they may be unaware of this).

That would actually be a sign of good quality sleep.

Interesting. I never knew that. I remember most of my dreams, but I never thought that it was related to sleep quality.
