Is it normal that my taste in music is way off my generation

So I'm 20 and while all my friends listen to EDM, House or whatever, I find Harry Belafonte, Abba, Enya and Joni Mitchell amazing. No one relates with my choice of music.

    Same here. While I have found myself enjoying the occasional modern song, the majority of my taste comes from the past.

    I dont care for most modern music at all, Im big into classic rock and Metal myself:

    Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Reo Speedwagon, Styx, Metallica, judas priest, the Beatles, the Guess who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, black sabbath, ac/dc,and Rush, just to name a few.
