Is it normal that my tub never feels clean enough?

I clean my bathtub really often but it's not new or anything and it just never feels clean to me. I can't even take a bath instead of a shower because it feels like I'm sitting in dirt. IIN?

    Use Comet or Ajax, an abrasive cleaner. Scrub with a steel wool pad.

      I think you misunderstood. I clean it like crazy, it just never feels like enough in my head.

        The finish is probably damaged from abrasion. It'll feel rough if that's the case.
