Is it normal that my wisdom teeth holes haven’t closed a year and a half later?

I had a normal healing process. It took about a month for all of my stitches to fall out. I never had an infection... the gums just never grew back over the holes completely. I just have two large indents now.

I said "normal", because it's normal to have an indent where the tooth was. However, if you can see bone or have any pain in the area, have it looked at. Dry sockets can be a complication, but they usually resolve, or become a big problem you'd know about within a week, or two, of surgery. Can't imagine this is a problem if you've had no pain during all this time. Just make sure to clean the "holes" as part of your tooth brushing.

I was born with an opening in my ass that never healed over. You should see the shit that oozes out.

Have you seen a doctor about this? I'm sure modern medicine has answers.

        I was told it's hereditary.

I'm truly sorry, I had no idea.
I hope your family and friends are there for you.

Is it terminal? You obviously don't have to discuss it.
