Is it normal that obese people
Is it normal that I think obese people should be banned from eating unhealthy foods? There should be a federal law preventing people with a certain BMI from being able to buy, possess, or consume high carb and high fat foods. The police will be able to fine or arrest fatties that violate the law.
Many drugs are illegal because they harm and kill people. Driving under the influence is illegal because it can harm or kill people. People always want more gun control after every mass shooting. I say we need more carb control.
Many more people die from heart disease every year than all of those other things combined! Diabetes is running rampant in our communities, leaving families mother and fatherless. Healthcare costs are out of hand. Obesity is the single biggest preventable cause of poor health in the USA today.
Now before I sound all high and mighty and hypocritical, let me explain. I could stand to lose a good 15-20 pounds myself. When I pull into the McDonald's and go and order a big mac value meal I would welcome A cop pulling next to me WHOOP WHOOP, "Not today fatty, you're having the parfait!"
I'm not saying everyone needs to be super skinny, a little thickness isn`t terribly unhealthy. Once the morbidly obese get down to an acceptable American Medical Asociation determined body mass index, they can go back to eating unhealthily if they choose until they become obese again at which point they're breaking the law again if they consume unhealthy foods.
The collective health of the whole country will improve, life expectancy and quality of life will skyrocket. People will look and feel so much better, health insurance will be cheap. It would be a utopia! Sure, fatties would temporarily lose some freedom, but the benefits would far out way the costs. No one thinks not being allowed to drive under the influence is fascist. This is a great idea.
