Is it normal that people are always talking at the cinema?
Seriously, I've been to movies lots of times, and every single fucking time, some moron or morons have to be annoying and ruin the experience by constantly talking the whole time.

The cinema is near empty most of the time since streaming took off, so I doubt it’s much of an issue these days.
Probably packed if you’re there to see some marvel superhero shit. If this is the case, hit yourself as punishment for your poor taste in film.
I remember in highschool me and a friend and some girls were really excited about this movie and we were sucked in and being quiet unlike the ppl next to us. They were raising their voices even wrestling at times. The manager came in and said our whole row has to leave. We explained to them we arent part of the group thats being noisy and they said they didnt care. We were next to them. They refused to give us our money back. My friend threw such a fit he got both of us arrested over it. Never been a fan of movies since then.
I hate that. And people texting too. You can still hear them tapping on the stupid phone.
Most people, at least these days, go to the movies as a social event. It's not even really about the movie anymore. It's just a way to hang out with your friends.
With that being said, it is annoying. The last time I went to the movies it was when Toy Story 4 was in theaters. (She picked the movie, not me.) I was on a date and we just wanted to watch the movie.
Yeah, it's fucking stupid. People really don't have respect for movies anymore.
It's less that they don't have respect for them and more that people know that, eventually, the movies will be released on one of the dozens of streaming services.
In their mind, they're just hanging out with friends. The movie is an afterthought. Again, this is stupid but it's one of the many side effects of the internet changing our world.
