Is it normal that they failed to notice this?
Back in 2011 or so, I had family members and friends all over Facebook who were very homophobic. They considered gays their enemy. They talk crap about putting them in separate towns, wanting to cull them, and bragging about how they knew EVERYTHING there is to know about their enemy.
I decided I'd put their knowing the enemies statement up to the test. I put up a profile picture sporting purple hair, with a pink streak and a blue streak. Those are bisexual pride colors. Not a single one said anything. They just continued on doing what they normally do which is to accuse other people who weren't even gay as gay. I guess they didn't know their enemy as well as they thought.
I'm thinking about recreating that picture since they're back at it again.
