So I see this quote-thing online every now and then and it goes like "if a person sleeps a lot, that person is lonely" and so on. One of them is "if a person doesn't cry, that person is weak"

I know people get offended when crying is said to be weak, but it chaps my ass that they had to turn it around and say that not crying makes you weak. Some people just don't feel the need to cry about things, or they're in a state of shock and can't cry. I don't understand how that makes them weak?

    I haven't seen that done but I get your point, seems like people try to turn things around these days to make it more acceptable such as "fat people are beautiful" that's fine, but then they go on saying "thin people are disgusting"... or even racial things, some people when trying to stand up for black people they will do so by bashing white people... It is pretty annoying...

    Most quotes that I see on the internet are pretty primitive, including this one. So yeah, I agree.

    These generalizations are full of logical fallacies.

    Good logical quotes would be:

    "If a person sleeps a lot, that can be caused by a variety of reasons."
    "If a person doesn't cry, that can be caused by a variety of reasons."

    "only if someone is there to clean the shower after I'm done" That's HILARIOUS implies he's soo FILTHY the shower needs to be cleaned when he's finished with it.

    I always thought that popular opinion was that crying too much was "weak". Reminds me of those murder investigation shows where they look at a suspect and say some variation of "They weren't grieving properly because they weren't showing enough emotion", or the opposite: "They weren't grieving properly because even though they were crying it was obviously fake crying". The truth of the matter is, there is no "right" or "wrong" way to grieve.
