We live in grapling hookless society. Everything gets better with a grapling hook. Imagine going to your job, flying around. Even sports become cooler with a hook, like volleyball or mountain biking.
Fuck climate and abortions and all the other trivial shit. Let's fight for what really matters.

You can buy grappling hooks... if you know where to look for them.
However, they are impractical for most people. They do take training and require a lot of arm/shoulder strength. They are not for amateurs.
The reason we don't have grappling hooks is the same reason we don't have flying cars, jetpacks, real hoverboards, or fireworks. They're complicated and people would hurt themselves trying to use them, so we can't have nice things. "Think of the children", yada yada.
3-dimensional movement is a huge no-no for common brains.

Didn't that annoying Game Theory guy on YouTube do the math for grappling hooks? I remember seeing one of his videos that explained that a lot of people would just end up with destroyed or removed appendages.
Obviously there are cases for more standard ones, but none of the "cool" ones are practical.
