Is it normal that when I look in the mirror sometimes I think 'Wow, what a sexy girl'? (I'm gay by the way).

I used to be very overweight for years. I always hated my appearance as a young person. After getting my heart spectacularly broken a few times in early adulthood and losing my appetite, I have finally slimmed to 'a bit overweight'.

I look at myself sometimes and only half-recognise the girl I see. She's so sexy and beautiful. If I forget for a moment that she's me, I feel physically attracted to her.

    I look in the mirror and think that I’m a straight 10/10 and would totally bang me as well. It’s normal and good to you are confident.

    People seem to think that as girls we owe it to the world to be insecure and that everything less than self hatred is extreme narcissism. We are allowed to love ourselves.

    Guys who are attracted to insecure girls are usually predators looking for someone weak who they can abuse. Keep on rocking your confidence.

      I would just like to throw in that I've been infatuated with girls who weren't too thrilled about their appearance despite being utterly beautiful and sexy, and they appreciate the enthusiasm you dont gotta be super confident to be attractive, its good to be confident because it means you'll feel good, but the idea that the only men who would ever be attracted to girls who are insecure are predatory? Not true some of us just want you to see how cute you really are!

        It probably wasn’t clear in my original comment but I meant men who see insecureness as an attractive trait rather than than men who like a girl despite her being insecure. Guys who deliberately seek out or prefer insecure girls are usually looking for someone they can manipulate and control.
