Is it normal the elevator is behaving strange

I am staying in a cheap Hotel in Los Angeles. The elevator seems to be broken, when you get in and press the buttons the door does not close but when you walk away the doors close and it goes to the next floor.

Most people in the hotel seem nice, but there are some men staying here that scare me, they stop and stare at me when I pass them in the hall.

is it normal to have this experience in a Hotel.

    LA, Hotel, the two words in the same sentence spell out Psychopaths among us... yeah it's normal and then some... did ghosts start frequenting your room yet???

      No but there's about to be a TB outbreak, there's 3 sex offenders living in the hotel with a motive to kill and I'm going to end up dead in the water tank.
