Is it normal the police let me do anything i want?

So I got pulled over again today outside the bar. The cop said I smelled of alcohol and was driving erratically and I admitted I had been drinking.
The officer went to run my card and came back saying I was free to go.
This has happened a few times and I think I know why.
I have narc'ed on a few people so I think they see I'm in cahoots with them when they run my name.
I don't narc on drugs or petty crimes though unless it's personal such as if they stole from me.
Other things I narc'ed on though we're more serious things such as child abuse and sex offenders.
I've done quite a few other favors for the government as well.
Is it normal they let me get away with whatever I want?

    Valid license, no warrants, not obliterated = not worth their time. One day you will probably run into a cop who has nothing better to do though.

    Of the major institutions like Health, Education, Infrastructure, Taxes, etc. Law Enforcement is easily the most corrupt. It is disappointing to see young cops that have professional intentions getting beat down by their superiors for doing an impartial job.

    So, it is no surprise that you get off. Be very careful to give accurate information when you rat on offenders.

    Keep bragging some more. People love it when others gloat. I doubt your story, but if it is true I hope your luck runs out and you get what you deserve. You obviously have no respect for yourself or other people if you plainly admit to drinking and driving like it is a routine. That is fucked up. This post seems like bait if you ask me.
