Is it normal the world will end in 2021?

The Mayan calendar ended when it ended simply because, at the time it was made, "2012" (in whatever time they measured in) was a time so far in the future they felt it didn't need to go any further. At most, it was a prediction some "change" would happen and a new age would begin. It's no deeper than that, it was never a prediction of the apocalypse, as any local historian specialising in their own history will tell you more eloquently than I can.

But keep thinking the Mayans are "inacurrate losers". Yknow, the people who (without cement or metal), managed to build a pyramid so precisely angled that the equinox sunlight hits it perfectly to cast patterns on the sides of the stairs. "Inaccurate losers".

The world won't end in 2021 either. Lunatic Christians and other religious nuts can keep falsely guessing when it's going to end, like they have been for the past 2000 years, and still sit being wrong in the corner over there.

This post as well as all the deluded comments display the unproductive mindset that religion encourages causing people to waste their lives and inhibit their ability to advance scientific knowledge that civilization produces.

Mayans certainly were not losers. They were one of the most advanced civilizations of that time. They didn't predict anything. They made calendars. That is simply as far as they got in the calendar making process before they were wiped out. The fact that you don't know that makes you an idiot, huh?

The end of the world has been predicted for centuries. There was a big upheaval when the year 1000AD was coming. Same as 2000. And there will be when 3000 is coming assuming we are still around.

I've traveled to other countries and wouldn't you know it, they have very strict immigration policies. You can get black-balled as simple as disrespecting authority. And instructed to report to their immigration for deportation. Most countries will deport you if you have no means of support, that's right, they do not want freeloaders.
