Is it normal this site exists

I was trying to open a normal page and got randomly redirected even though I had just turned on adblocker and what I got redirected to was a site called reallifecam.com and I was really creeped out two ladies standing in a kitchen one of them randomly on the table in underwear dancing. Then I clicked the other names on the sidebar out of curiousty and they were just couples sitting on a sofa watching tv and one cam just showed an empty living room. So im like wtf are these people being filmed without knowing but apparently they have webcameras in their house for fun and you can pay a membership to see when they have sex... I dont care if they are cool with being filmed all the time I think its kinda creepy like why would you want that are these people brainrotten from too much porn or something so they have sacrificed their personal lives 100% for the sake of people with a fetish for stalking??? I dont get it

Seems weird to me as well. I have no clue why anyone would want the Internet to have access to everything that goes on in their homes, nor why anyone would want to watch people sit on the couch and watch TV.

I've noticed within the past few years, however, that there seems to be a disproportionate amount of people who do think that the world cares about watching them perform the most mundane tasks, such as cleaning their house, grocery shopping, eating food, etc. I know a few girls I went to high school with who started YouTube channels in which they recorded hours-long videos of themselves cleaning their apartments and talking about everything they bought at the grocery store, and even eating random food. One also recorded a couple of different crying meltdowns and a couple hours' worth of herself laying on the couch afterwards. I just don't understand why anyone would want to film something as personal as a meltdown and post it online for the entire world to see except for if they were desperate for attention, or how watching someone perform regular household chores or essential activities for life could possibly be that interesting, especially for hours.

I guess in the social media age, some people assume that everything they do must be posted online and that the whole world cares what they are up to at all times. I'm surprised this kind of stuff even has an audience, TBH, but there are probably people out there who feel they have nothing better to do, or as you said, have some sort of strange fetish.

It's kinda gross that people will do just about anything for money.
