when i smoke weed i feel like i want to talk to everyone and i’m not awkward at all around new people which is definitely not the case when i’m sober. i smoked at a party last weekend and i loosened up so much and since i always smoke with the same people i hadn’t really noticed that before but i made like 5 new friends and kissed two girls. my friends are telling me that it’s just a coincidence that it happens when i’m high but that in reality it’s just my mood swings bc i’m a girl. does this happen to more people?

    A few of my boyfriend's former friends were like this. At some point they couldn't even say hello to me or anyone else without having to stop, say "excuse me" and run outside for a smoke first. Their constant running in and out got annoying to me and the people they socialized with. While its normal for it to make some people open up, don't let it be your crutch like they did. Btw, I'm not some "weed is dangerous" advocate, I think weed is harmless.

    Pot can make you feel less shy and insecure. It diminishes stress and you may socialise better.
