I got this habit from my grandfather who would give my grandmother a sarcastic answer when she asked him a dumb question. Like my wife asked me where 4th street was, and I said, “Between 3rd and 5th”. She wasn’t amused.
Well, sarcasm can be a quite handy tool. You must just be able to know when to use it, based on a person's personality. I do agree that some questions do deserve a sarcastic answer. To give you an example: I am blind since birth, and I think my life is quite organised. My wife is blind too. The following questions were asked to me in real life, thus they are true.
1. "Who cleans you after going to the toilet?" I wanted to reply to the guy that I have a robot installed in the toilet who does that little job for me.
2. "Is it difficult for two blind people to have sex? I mean, if you cannot sea your wife, how do you know where is her vagina to have sex?" By that time I was so frustrated that I told the lady that I went to Hogwarts school. Luckily the school are catering for blind wizards nowadays. So, my natural "wand" knows exactly to go in in order to give my wife enough pleasure, thanks to Hogwarts for the Blind.
Well, I can go on. My point is that you are sometimes driven to that point where the questions just become rediculous. Have a wonderful day and stay safe and healthy.
Sometimes sarcasm can actually be funny, just don't get booty hurt when someone calls you an asshole.
