Is it normal to be a 20 year old girl and never used a tampon?

I just have been scared that it will either be bloody uncomfortable (no pun intended) or it will get lost or something will go wrong like il loose the string ?

    I only started using tampons at 17. Before that I didn't like the idea of it for the same reasons as you. When I started using tampons I realised it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. Of course, it's totally up to you whether you want to use tampons or not. No one can make that decision for you.

    I didn't until my mid 20s. I didn't like the idea. I forget why I started. Probably because I find pads uncomfortable and disgusting.

    Course, I need to use them simultaneously, anyway.

    I kinda want to get a diva cup, but I'm also a little icked out by it :/

    Whatever you choose is your decision. As long as it works for you and you're happy, that's all that matters.
