Is it normal to be a shower?

The fact that "shower" and "grower" are such commonly understood terms should tell you that both are normal. Neither is better than the other. The only place where it might matter is in places where guys get nekkid around other guys, and even then only if it's really important to a guy that he impress other guys with what he's got.

For what it's worth, the vast majority of women don't really care either way. It's what you do with whatever you've got that matters to them.
