Is it normal to be afraid of bugs to the point of cold, paralyzing terror?
I thought of this question because of a poll someone put up... and I wonder if anyone else has this:
I'm terrified of bugs. The worst are centipedes & roaches. I'm so frightened of some that I literally feel a chill go up my spine when I see them, and my stomach knots up. A house centipede crawled on me once, and I basically freaked so bad I lost memory between noticing it and being on the floor with a knocked over table and broken dishes, shaking and cold and clammy all over, then I threw up. I hate it because people make fun of it, and they're right to - it's embarrassing and stupid.
Is it normal? (Or do other people have fears they react THIS strongly to?)
