Is it normal to be afraid of ripping off my toes when my leg falls asleep?

Every time my legs fall asleep, I have to stop whatever I'm doing and wait until I can feel them again so that I know I'll feel if my pinky toes are bending on something or not. I'm terrified they will just bend backwards and rip off. IIN?

Why would your toes ripoff more easily because your foot was asleep?

It's not that they would rip off more easily, it's that I wouldn't be able to feel when they were bending and about to rip off.

I know what you mean. I get the same. when I've been sniffing coke and my nostrils are numb, I try to pick out what I think is a dried bit of coke from my nose and I think I'm ripping bits of flesh from the inside of my nose.

      I can't tell if you're serious or not..either way that's a disturbing image.
