Is it normal to be an occultist and practice every religion?
I've been studying the occult for half a year and practicing magick for about three months. I have gotten with a spirituality group and have done magick with each other, things like astral projection meetups, orb mind-programming, physical manipulation and mental manipulation, contact with deities, etc. and have had overrall success. We live the life of a hermit and like monks the most, especially Tibetan Buddhism. I also go by the paradigm of paradigms, or Chaos Magick. I take part in every religion. I've done Christian Mysticism and been in sinister satanic "tribes" like the Order of the Nine Angles, because there's no "rules" or "guidelines" to belief. I'm mainly Discordian (did you know God is a mad woman who loves chaos?), Hermetic, Chaotic, and Buddhist but take little bits from every religion and deeply study every religion. I can carry a conversation with people from all religions, better than the people who think they're hot shit because "they took a two year philosophy class in college". Now is this normal? I see belief as a tool not faith and consider blind faith extremely mundane but I understand feeling safe believing someone's there watching you, but why not go out there and meet him yourself? Why not become a god? Why not CREATE your own gods and make some goofy religion to steal loosh from people? These are just a tiny portion of questions I have for mundanes. It's mainly because of a study I read, that people who sincerely believe in fairies will see faries better than people who don't believe in fairies.
