I am an ordained minister of metaphysics and psychic science, yet I hate, loath and dispise everything to do with orthodox Churchianity. Is it normal? Before you start sniping, please remember the golden rule and the law of karma (that you reap whatever you sow).
Why the hate? I understand how frustrating some people's beliefs can be but to hate and loath it is a waste of energy.

Allot of Christianity doesn't make sense (no offence to you), but it's also a tad hypocritical of you to become a minister when you disagree with sone of the main principles. It's normal to hate it, but maybe you could "minister" for a religion or sect that you agree with more?
I was wondering the same thing. So the op not a real minister but a teacher of philosophy of sorts. I think they are the crystal/gem, powers of the natural earth kind of people right? I think all that hatred towards something you don't agree with might mess up your good karma wouldn't you think. I don't agree with lots of things but to actually hate/despise it takes a good chunk of energy that could be better put elsewhere.
I'd say it's normal. It is often forgotten that belief in metaphysics does not automatically associate you with religion. Religion is belief in metaphysics with the addition of dogma/strict objective morality.
Your post doesn't exactly clarify, but I'll assume your gripe with orthodox religion is the dogmatic part.
I understand your feelings toward the religions of today. I a a firm believer in metaphysics and psychic and telepathic abilitys. There is more to "god" than wecan even began to fathom. I know one thing though, "god" is LOVE.

Two of you mentioned "them". I assume you are thinking I am saying that I hate the adherents of orthodox religion. No, but I have met some that I strongly disliked. It is the orthodox religion itself that I find stupid and disgusting. I could site reasons for my hatred of it, but that would only be to insite further attacks on me, despite my plea and my warning. If you think you religion truly is based on love, why not practice it? As for hypocritical, maybe you ought to look it up. I am NOT pretending to be part of the religion I said I hate. Could be true that hating anything may be a waste of energy.
Hold on dude, I didn't attack you at all? I simply asked for WHY you hate the religion. I was trying to understand your viewpoint better.
I didn't say you did, but the fellow who suggested I was interested in banging altar boys did seem very offensive, as noted.
If I was to give specific reasons for my feelings, I feel that would be asking for trouble. I could give them, starting with the hypocrisy of so many adherents. Jesus said that to be his disciple one must hate their father and mother, brother and sister, wife and kids. I for one can't be a disciple of his. After his saying that, I don't even like the guy. Now people, go ahead and pounce. I have just denounced your "Lord".
I don't think the way you feel is abnormal at all. I personally see some hypocrisy in the church from time to time that I find myself unable to explain. However, feeling the way you do, and being open about it, will offend many people who are part of "the church". These people are usually the ones who are going to bash your opinions and "attack you", such as the alter boy comment.
maybe you hate it because you cant as many little boys as you thought you could.
