Is it normal to be annoyed by people who constantly talk about their health...

Problems?

People who always talk about how sore or tired they are or hat medication they're on or that they're going in for this or that or have an appointment and people who constantly whine and gripe and mope around just for attention. My mother has acted like this since I was a child, and now I have a co-worker who is constantly coming up with diagnoses for herself and is always taking pills and talking about what's wrong with her.

Because I grew up surrounded by people like this I get annoyed whenever aomeone starts talking about any health problem that they have. I'm not talking about cancer patients or people with obviously severe illnesses or issues. Just random people seeking attention.

My nose was a little stuffed up- did some research online, and it turns out I have testicular cancer!

Well if someone is seriously ill.. I don't get annoyed by them telling me about it nonstop as I care and it saddens me. If they're basically a hypochondriac, that is when it annoys me because they'll complain about anything from a minor headache to sleeping on their arm the wrong way every single day.

Sometimes people aren't seeking attention. Perhaps they have some issue they can't quite put their finger on. You sure are an insensitive jerk. Watch when YOU become ill like this you might regret being such an asshole.

    • When they get a certain gleam in their eye whenever they talk about their self proclaimed and diagnosed illnesses from mayoclinic?

IF that is the case, they have a sort of physiologic disorder I guess. When I was a kid I would get random pains in my gut and whatnot. Now looking back I think it was all the processed food I ate. From fluoride in the water, to cell phones, to air pollution, to vaccines, fast/processed foods. Pharmaceuticals, etc, multiple simultaneous things like this can compound and cause people to just not feel good and they can't figure out why. This is a possibility. Or you could be right and they're just a hypochondriac. Either way, they don't mean any harm to anybody. What OUGHT to bother you is when people deliberately cheat, steal, hit, manipulate, kill, etc.
