Is it normal to be annoyed when people pretend they are smart?

I could tolerate to the point if you are a complete rock. What irks me most is people who pretend they know something and use that to insult other people.

Like saying wisdom is "Superficial" when they clearly dont understand that word. Trying to say "Oh they were conversating" When they dont know that the word is "Conversing". Its like if your low intelligence okay, but you using big words incorrectly to sound smart just makes you sound like a fucking moron.

    Your punctuation, spelling, and structure are off. In addition to this not many intellectuals dwell on such imperatives.

    Too focused on;

    - Who are they trying to impress?
    - What happened to provoke said behaviour?
    - Why do they act like this?
    - When do they act like this?
    - Where do they act like this?
    - How does their brain develop said thought pattern?
    - How much does this happen?

    umad brah? it's not like you can say you've lived your life having never used a word incorrectly in a sentence, or never used a word that was wrong.

    I find this unsophisticated diatribe to be quite deleterious to a beneficial evolution of Homo sapiens.

    I´m not absolutely sure seeing as English is not my native language ... but your grammar does not seem perfect either :p

    • The point is not to use words you do not know in order to come off as more intelligent, and that you should also not use them when you are trying to insult another person. That just makes you sound stupid.

        Well, people are stupid. I even refrain from using words I know I would be able to use because it just feels weird to over-do it. If I know plenty of words for the same thing why not use the simpler one seeing as more people would understand it.
