Is it normal to be annoyed when you can't figure out what to do in a videogame?

Let's say you are playing some kind of a videogame, and hit a roadblock preventing you from advancing further. Assuming you don't want to cheat and look up help online, You either...

-Can't figure out what to do, or where to go next, and end up lost or wandering in circles for ridiculous amounts of time.

-Can't figure out an exceptionally difficult or surprisingly confusing puzzle, which then prevents any type of progress.

-or... Can't make your way past an extremely difficult level segment or very difficult boss fight... leaving you stuck.

Is it normal to be annoyed, frustrated, or even pissed off by either of these 3 roadblocks, when playing a videogame?

    if you get stuck there for so long the game should just start giveing you light hints like some strategy to defeat an enemy or an arrow if you lose your way i dont consider that cheating ive quit many games because i just couldnt get passed a certin part

    This reminds me of this one time when I played POP the forgotten sands. I think it was the Chamber Room or some kind of level, I was playing a pirated game so I had to find a way around a door that just wouldn't open 'cause of a glitch. I spent three days straight looking it up until I called it quits. Thanks to my friend I then found an odd way to get through it :/

      When I was a kid I smashed my playstation controller because I got stuck on Final Fantasy 7. It was the games fault not mine...I take no responsibility for my actions......

        I remember the exact point I got stuck in that game,
        I was in a lift and I had to fight a guy who had either a dog or a type of wild cat protecting him.
        I loved the game though so I kept replaying it up until that point

            I honestly can't remember.
            I've still got all my old stuff like my dreamcast ect I might dig out my ps1 and replay it, I'd probably be able to do it now I've had more experience with games
