Is it normal to be convinced that government incompetency is intentional

A few months ago I suspected I might have COVID so I went online to see where I could get tested. There were three separate government-run locations advertised on government sites for COVID testing. Each was advertised as being open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day of the week. Since I'm a cheap ass, I decided to go to one of those places because the cost was going to be subsidized. Every single location was not only closed, but not even PHYSICALLY PRESENT. I showed up to the addresses only to be greeted by an empty parking lot

And this isn't only in relation to COVID-related things; think of the DMV, trying to collect unemployment when you're between jobs, even paying a fucking traffic violation is a mind-bendingly convoluted fresh hell where nothing goes as expected and you're laughably stupid if you think it'll take you less than 3 tries to finally get the task done. You can essentially take any basic function that anyone with a below-average IQ and who's only partially paying attention is able to complete competently and it's practically a guarantee that if anyone who works in government were to take control, they'd find 901 ways to fuck it up beyond all human explanation

The only thing that makes sense to me is that the government intentionally does a shit job with everything they do in order to keep expectations low and citizens feeling just defeated/disenfranchised enough to not bother expecting the government to do a single goddamn thing without fucking it all up

Actaully, yes. The USA Federal and State government system was generally designed to be inefficient. That was done as a way to limit how many things it would try to do,and let private industry do things where efficiency matter.

A lot more things can be privatized though. We dont need shrimp running on treadmills needing 100 million in tax payer money. Let the companies run the numbers and research, that's what contracts are for. Just got to keep an eye out for spies... something that the us goverment doesnt do that well all things concidered.

Every problem we have in America can be traced back to government several times. Take student debt for example. It used to be more affordable to go to university because it was more profitable to be affordable for them. But then the banks decided they would give out loans for schooling. Then schools decided they could raise their rates ridiculously high because they're guaranteed to get the money because students have to get loans.

Same with healthcare, FDR made it illegal through executive order for employers to increase wages in WW2. For companies to entice workers they got creative and came out with healthcare packages. This worked alot like student loans for medical care because it caused a guarantee of high pay from Healthcare insurance. Insurance would pay more than someone could without insurance. So doctors quit taking people without insurance because they can make more with insured ppl. Now you must have insurance.

Obamacare was supposed to save it but then made insurance rates skyrocket. Obama had good intentions actually he made it illegal for insurance companies to deny someone based on their pre existing condition. But since insurance companies cant deny a new customer while hes on his deathbed they were forced to raise the rates on everyone to help pay for the pre-existing conditioned people who only get insurance once theyre dying or in need of surgery.

When the government gets involved they often make the problem worse and then they have to get involved more to attempt to fix what they broke. When it would have been better off if they let it work itself out.

And Europe and Canada wonder why we don't have universal healthcare. Imagine the absolute clusterfuck that would be the result of allowing the government to try to take control of that

Those capitalistic queues and expensive prototype drugs and treatments are the primary reasons smug assholes in Europe and Canada are even allowed the luxury of universal healthcare. All those fucking cuntbag degenerates love to shit all over the U.S. for covering over 95% of all medical R&D costs and for developing over 90% of all new lifesaving procedures which they just take without contributing a goddamn thing. So shut your shitty whore mouth

Canadians are Europeans are some of the shittiest cunts in the world. It would be kind of cute in a pathetic way if it wasn't so obnoxious that they think Americans give a flying shit about their asshat opinions born entirely of ignorance and fucking exhausting self-righteousness
