Is it normal to be in awe of is it normal members with 4-digit numbers?

just because they've been on here since like forever and you don't get to see many of them. I suppose it's like seeing a rare species in the wilderness or something.

I've never noticed how many digits are by a user's name.

"The Management" is the number 1

We used to have the ability to search for member profiles in the old days but it's now being removed.

However if you would like to use this link

        http://isitnormal.com/people/1

Just change the number on the end to see who you want to see. Some of the members were banned so it will occasionally give you an error link.

You're a hive of interesting information about this site! I've been looking at a few of the founding members of the site and found loads of posts where most of the posters only have three numbers.

Also noticed someone called CockCrazyGirl4Life. Did you know her? She's really funny at times.

I don't recall someone with such a name but yes throughout time we have had people with names that often gave me the giggles.

  • What exactly do our numbers signify...? I thought they had to do with area/location

I always notice people who are in the same region as me (the fifty thousands). People like MissSorel, squirrelgirl, joeaverage. I feel a bit of kinship to the people who joined at the same time. One time someone posted and her number was only one or two away from mine. But then she never posted again. Blah!

No. A well-informed noob is as valuable to a forum as somebody who has been posting for years. Just because they climbed on the bandwagon early, doesn't mean that they are better forum members. Number of posts maybe, because posting does show loyalty to a forum, simply joining early shows nothing.

A membership number means nothing - I'll be more concern with their contribution to the forum.

And yeah I know... we are a dying breed :'(

I remembered seeing a couple of triple number members and the occasionally two number members when I first came on IIN

I believe it's just a member number :-) No idea what mine is, I used the app for ages before going on the computer

Excuse my noobishness, but what do the numbers mean anyway?

They're just a primary key. Each new person who joins gets a number one higher than the last person who joined.
