Is it normal to be intrigued by the radio's pitch?

I have always been intrigued whenever I turn on the radio, the pitch is one pitch higher for some odd reason maybe it's just me or it's probably other people.

      one pitch higher than the original pitch of the song is what I was trying to say.

    I have always thought songs sound just slightly different on FM radio than online/on albums, etc., but could never figure out what it was.
