    You're far more likely to die from the effects of second hand smoke, a drunk driver or type 2 diabetes.

    It's only normal in the sense that it falls under common cognitive biases (See: "Attentional bias"). You may also be suffering from what is essentially selection bias.

    Paranoia is bad. If it's affecting your life, see a professional.
