Is it normal to be scared of wind turbines?

Whenever I'm driving and pass a group of wind turbines, I'm scared as hell. Even a single wind turbine scares me.

They look like giant, looming aliens. Like they'd lumber about and eat you Attack on Titan style.

Whenever I pass them I just feel good. I feel like they're Don Quixote's windmills working to generate clean energy for us and that we might last longer on this planet because of them...

Have you ever walked right under one and looked up? It's scary but you get a rush.

Wind turbines are normally viewed from a distance, so if you want to really get freaked out, go stand under one and you'll realise just how fricken huge they actually are.

You'll also realise that there's no way the enormous things are going to lumber anywhere.

Its birds that need to be scared of them countless birds are killed by them every year. This is especially bad for birds of prey which grow slowly.

  • Now that I think about it, I can see why someone might find them scary. I like seeing them though.

They're like noble titans, producing clean energy, and defending the planet from fossil fuel and oil use.

However, as it stands, methods of clean energy production are about as much of a match against the stupidity and greed of real humans as the humans from AOT are against the titans.

    Wait a minute... SHUCKS!

I might have to take back some of what I said.
