The key to happiness is power. Haven't you noticed how every-time you feel depressed it's because some external cause, usually under the control of other more powerful and confident people, overpowers you and you feel helpless?
The more is under your control and the more you feel like you're in the driver's seat the happier you are. Of course it's easier for a tall man than a short one, a smart one than a dumb one, a pretty girl than an ugly one etc. Wealth is a big power factor too. Helpless people tend to rely on supernatural friends to solve their problems but it doesn't work as you may have noticed. Don't wait for things to happen but make them happen. Easier said than done so take baby-steps.
You can't search for happiness because it isn't something external. You can find your keys or your missing shoes, but happiness is internal. The key is being content with yourself and life at the moment.
It's normal to go through periods where you're sick of searching. But hopefully you'll feel better and ready to accept it again in future
Quarter life crisis my friend! Very common! Read about that and blog posts on the Internet besides here. It's very common and normal. Look at it this way, average people are living longer and looker, 80to 90 years, not uncommon... So of all that time u have, how do u expect to find the answer when ur not even half way through? It's ur life. U only get one.. Maybe there is no meaning .. But do what u want and try to enjoy the moments while they're happening. That's all we have in the end, is our memories.
My question to you would be what happiness is to you? At 25 im still searching for happiness myself. So i had to ask myself what I think i'm looking for. Figure those things out then make a goal list. It may work or not. But it's a start.
When it's all over, it's not who you were. It's whether you made a difference.
