Is it normal to be surprised at how some people actually look without their masks?
The mask mandate was removed in my area and everyone was observing each other.
Since everyone was wearing a mask for a long time at work, my coworkers were surprised to see what everyone actually looked like.
Some were disappointed and thought that some people would look cuter without the mask and it turned out to not be the case.
Some were surprised that the people they perceived as ugly were actually cute.
Some people guessed others ages wrong and were either satisfied or disappointed with their guesses.
And some were startled over the surprise moustache and beards a lot of the guys had.
Is it normal? I was one of the lucky ones that people said looked better than they thought. My ugly, tired eyes and eye bags aren't exactly photogenic.
To the people that had mask mandates: Did any of you have the same experience when your areas mask mandate was lifted?
