Is it normal to be very creeped out by gay guys?

I'm a straight man, and I consider myself open minded but I can't stand the feminine womanly way gay men act. This is the only reason I do not support gay/lesbian marriage rights. Now I know most straight men are creeped out by gays but I think I'm a little excessive. Whenever I a man who sounds and/or looks gay is coming my direction I make sure to go somewhere else to avoid him. I'm also very paranoid about them hitting on me, and I won't let them touch me in any shape or form. I just wish they would act normal or go into the closet. So does this make me a homophobe? IIN?

I think anyone who is excessively homophobic may have a deep rooted fear that they may really be gay.
A straight male, comfortable with his sexuality, feels no uneasiness when around gay men. They do not present a threat to the straight man's self image or masculinity.

I'm always shocked to find out there are people like you STILL in existence. There's nothing to be said to you because prejudice sits deep in the gut. It rarely can be reasoned out.     He's a bigot. If he were making analogous comments about blacks or Jews or women, they largely wouldn't be tolerated. But today we can still bash irrationally some communities--like gays, the elderly, the homeless... Assuming this is an authentic question, while no one can influence the way he feels about something, wishing gays back into the closet and justifying supporting discriminatory legal policies (marriage rights) based on personal prejudice and not hard empirical evidence is myopic and ought to be intolerable.
