Is it normal to believe in paranormal and supernatural things

I had a pretty conservative upbringing and was conditioned to think that if I believed in other-worldly things I may be ridiculed and if others believe in other-worldly things, they are abnormal.

By other-worldly, I mean things like ESP, telepathy, clairvoyance, witchcraft, possessions, energy working, vibrational healing, channeling, and the like.

is it normal to believe in these things?

I believe in some of these things too. There are some very unexplainable things in this world that I truly believe are worth pondering.

There are some who think it is possible that many of the things you mentioned were once abilities that humans had, but those capabilities have been lost as our species evolved. I think this could be a possibility, and would lend credence to the stories and myths that abound about these things.
Other things you mentioned that are religiously based, such as possession are patently impossible, as demons, angels, gawds and devils cannot and do not exist.

    I quote:

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

I still believe this to this day.

    What is your evidence?

    Remember anecdotes are not evidence.
