Is it normal to buy an honorary title for a gift

For Christmas I bought an honorary title of ladyship for my girlfriend.

It cost like 50$ for a square foot of land in Britain. With a fancy piece of paper saying that you are a lady/lord.

I'm sure she would love it as a gift (I'm also including a nice scarf as well)

What do you guys think of it?

That's cool. I have had stars named after my friends and family so a title would be right up there.

    • You do know those stats are already named right? It's not gonna be Janis Smith star its gonna be something like B4-11166

That being said owning a sq foot of land probably isnt as legitimate as having a star named for a loved one.

And you don't really own any land in the UK either. Just a piece of paper that says you do. I will sell you a full square yard of the moon if you want it. And give you a piece of paper that says it too.

Owning land in Britain doesn't give you a lordship/ladyship, dude. If she likes if then great, and I hope she does, but the company has essentially sold you a piece of paper saying you're the emperor of the moon for 50 quid.

I suppose it's nice to say you own land in Britain though.

    • I know it's a bs slip of paper. But in the usa you cant achieve lordship status here (for obvious historical reasons) so having a funny peice of paper saying so is just a fun gift. We are smart enough to know it's a scam but it's a fun waste of money.

Yeah I hope she likes it, dude. If she does then it's money well spent, aye.

        • It's a couples deal I get one anyway.

That being said if we do break up her next boyfriend will have to one up an honorary title gift lol.

If that happens, take it to the next level, dude. Throw the gauntlet down old England style and protect thy honorary title!

            • I come from a long line of poor ass farmers. I shall protect my rule!

Then again in the usa you cant actually aquire a title of nobility in america... but that doesnt mean you cant buy nobility for 50$. My ancestors would be proud.
