Is it normal to chew the wrapper of a muffin like a piece of gum?

After I eat a muffin, I can't help but notice all the muffin meat sticking to the inside of the wrapper, so I start chewing it like gum, and then just spit it out after I've gotten all I can out of it. Is this normal?

As long as you just chew on it to suck out what's left on the wrapper, just don't swallow the wrapper cause that'll probably mess your stomach up, and make ya gag. But you said that you spit out the wrapper afterwards, so yeh it's OK.

I haven't heard of anyone who does this until now. So it's definitely uncommon. But you have a fair reason for it in my opinion, so normal.

When I'm at McDonald's, I always eat the grease-soaked cardboard french fry cups. They're tastier than the fries.
