So sometimes after I poop I can tell it's going to take forever to wipe. Like the poop was soft or something, not diarrhea though. So instead of spending 10 minutes and wasting half a roll of toilet paper I just jump in the shower. I have a removable shower head so I just use that to spray right on my butt. Does anyone else do this? Is this common?

I think your wiping technique is in need of refinement. Unless you've got crazy diarrhea, wiping should be much faster than going in the shower.
Perfectly normal, and sensible. If I'm going to have morning shower, I poop first, get straight in the shower without wiping, spray my bum with the shower on it's powerful setting, then finish by washing with shower gel. Far better than wasting time wiping, which lets be honest, doesn't get your poo hole super clean :)
to shower after a shit is most hygenic. especially if it a cold showere makes one very clean especially in between the cheeks and the penis is feeling really etc I shower daily and after a shit
Actually, I shit in the shower and then clean myself off with the toilet water. A little different but I can relate.
I don't think it's normal necessarily, but I don't see anything wrong with it.
I also prefer to shower and wash my arse after having a crap! Its cleaner and more hygienic!
