Is it normal to dislike a singer/band, but like their music?

I supposed it's normal to like an artist's music, but not like the artist as a person (or as the persona they show the media, judging by interviews and the like), but for some reason it feels wrong, like I'm a poser or something.

Considering famous people usually become selfish drug addict lunatics, I am pretty sure most of us would not get along for an extended period of time with our favorite musicians. At least you have no delusion of imaginary comaradery with this artist.

You don't have to like someone to like their music, just as you don't have to like someone's music to like the person

The Lostprophets made some of the best songs available today, and I love their music.
Their lead singer was a kiddy fucker and is rightfully in prison for 30 years, but that doesn't spoil the music they made.

Yah, I don't like a lot of popular music but I might not dislike the person.
