Is it normal to dream in a language that you’ve never heard of?

I had a dream last night that my best friend and boyfriend were all in the same class. And our professor was singing opera in a dramatic serious way. And it was pretty funny, we were all bursting from laughter. Everyone threw up their hands and screamed “Vici!!” I’ve never heard this word used outside of that classic phrase in Italian “vini vidi vici” Or whatever, so I was a bit confused in my dream, but went along with it.

In the dream I thought “Vici” was a compliment or something similar. But I woke up and googled. The first thing that came up was Slovenian. And it means “Jokes”. Which makes sense because the class was laughing and I guess trolling our professors opera singing by screaming that.

I’ve never heard a single word of Slovenian before. So this is strange to me.

Pronunciation is important. If it was "vichi" it would be ecclesiastical latin (not italian) and it would mean "I conquered". If it was "wiki" it would be classical latin. I don't know much about Slovenian, but if it's like other Slavic languages it'll probably be pronounced "vitsi"

Nope. I saw the word Vici in my dream as they were saying it. And the pronunciation With a strong C. It was all really clear and lifelike.

          The alphabet, A, B, C.

How it’s said there is how it was said in the dream. Vici

Also it’s no discussion on if it is this word or not this word. Because I saw the word pop out at me in the dream. Vici.

I was just wondering if it’s like normal for me to never have heard of slovanian

I know the word is vici, but if the c in vici wasn't pronounced as a "ts" then it wasn't slovenian
