Yeah these days it's pretty normal for people to try to reconnect with the people in their past.
Yeah, i'm sure that they will appreciate it. Teaching is often a thankless job, especially middle school (lets face it, kids are such little shits @ that age), so i'm sure hearing thank you from a former student would make their day.
Tell them I'm sorry I failed them. And that the kids they teach take them far too much for granted than they seriously should be. Told them how much they meant to me.
You didn't fail em, fuck em.
They are just doing a job for an income. They see so many other kids, do you really think they care about you?
One of them emailed me back and actually does care... Not everyone does a job for the money... Some of them had other incomes. One of my teachers owned 5 bars and still chose to teach.
See... I reply to comments on IIN. I tell you now I don't care! But don't let me be a downer! If you have a teach that actually gives a toss then that is good. See there is good in the world. I'm just a sower son biatch that expects the worst and its a bonus when people actually follow through. I also don't fairy floss shit. I give tough love.
Its normal. I had a dickhead teacher at highschool named mr tewmey who always told me I'll be working minimum wage and I'll not be able to get my GED. Its pretty immature but when I was 22 I got a job delivering packages making 34 an hour at that time and hes the first person I emailed. I wanted to let him know I got the GED, I still smoke bud, and I make more than him without a college degree. He didn't respond.
