Is it normal to eye roll when someone says something dumb?

Especially when someone would go and say something I honestly don't care about or when I find something really stupid, people might think I am either rude or being disrespectful but I like I said do it for that type of reason. There's me pretending to care while I just eye roll in front of them ( by them I mean people like friends. )

Yes, it's common for people to roll their eyes, but it's still bad manners.

    That sounds really passive aggressive.

Another one of those weird hyper self aware questions about something that many people does naturally.

  • I kinda feel like both perspectives are valid. What they say isn't relevant to you and they wanted to try to have pleasant conversation. It's hard to say if one or the other is objectively wrong, although I know I could subjectively.

I think the main thing to understand is that it's two different people with their own mentalities making contact with each other and how it plays out is just opening Schrodinger's Box on how they get along

Magnets, more technically termed electromagnetic forces as well as all the other fundamental forces of the universe, can push and pull on each other through their attributes and alignments

Ecosystems flourish with many different roles for its inhabitants. People are similar, some will repel each other, others attract, possibly mate, maybe hate

It's very well possible to roll ones eyes maliciously, but I don't think it's inherently wrong, there is an innocent way to do it

It's probably kinda rude to roll one's eyes, but at the end of the day it's certainly not the worst thing one can do. To be completely honest I get more annoyed hearing some adult say to some kid, or teenager, "don't roll your eyes at me", than I would actually seeing someone roll their eyes.

Comes off as snooty, or like you believe you're superior, like the super cool frat boy. Some people dont laugh at silly things and take life too serious. They always gotta correct you and make a big deap out of people that said something the wrong way even though they know what the person is trying to say
