Why not get a different type of alarm clock? You could get one that makes waking up a little less unpleasant, like a radio alarm clock, one that makes coffee/tea for you or a daylight simulating one. If these methods are too gentle for you, just keep a normal one as a back-up.

alarm clocks are actually bad they shock you into wakin up which is bad for stress levels its best to get enough sleep to wake up naturally and peacefully

  • This why you should get shitty songs or ringtones as alarms like me. My alarm are church bells because when are you going to hear giant bells when your in a suburb or city

  • Oh thank you! I hate my alarm clock with a passion. I'm not a morning person so I hate anything/anyone that wakes me up in the morning. But my alarm clock is horrible to me. It hardly ever wakes me up...its like the alarm never went off and then I'll wake up really late. Then, when the stupid fucking thing decides to wake me up it scares the living out of me. I'll wake up with my heart beating extremely fast like I'm having a heart attack.

I have been known to turn my alarm clock off in .05 seconds.

Oh! You could also set your alarm clock for pleasant times too such as lunch or something, that way it might counteract the negativity you are feeling? Actually, upon second though, this might just ruin the pleasant times because of your already associated negativity with the alarm clock meaning something bad... Did that even make sense?

what burnatwist said. but you could also try to wake up to something more peaceful like classical music or your lover going down on you.
