Is it normal to face away from the shower head?
I mean when sorta idle in the shower, thinking some thoughts. I don't face towards the shower, I keep my back against it.
Also I'm a bit short, so when I do face the shower, I get a face full of water.

I always do that...
A face full of water wouldn't be comfortable. And it's easier to get any remaining shampoo out my hair.
Seriously though, how long are your showers?
Well my face is higher than the shower head so I do this out of necessity.
As a kid, I used to face away the showerhead, as having the water run on my back felt nice.
Then my parents renovated the bathroom and got a large, square rainfall type showerhead, so it didn't matter which way I faced.
The showerhead at my apartment is the same type, so again it doesn't matter which way I face. Water pours down and covers everything.
