Is it normal to fall in love with a music group on hiatus?

Is it normal that within the past year I've fallen in love with a certain band that has been on hiatus since 2013? It started when my younger cousin was watching the TV show based on them, and tbh I liked it and soon got hooked on their music. Also they're so sweet, always saying how much they love their fans. There is a chance they will tour together again, which would be awesome, but now I'm supporting their separate careers. Two of the members are making their own music, I love both. I'm also 23 and a lot of the fans are younger than me. So is it normal?

    Thanks for commenting. If anyone was wondering, it's Big Time Rush. But that may have been obvious from the description. I have been called pathetic, but oh well, I like what I like :)

    Sure, why not?

    I saw Interpol earlier this summer and Paul and the crew seemed pretty happy to be here in Toronto. Seems like they lost a lot of fans over the years but they're still kicking ass and enjoying it. That makes me happy as heck.
