Is it normal to fantasize about the main character from forgotten worlds dying?

Some context to this, is that I played the Capcom game, Forgotten Worlds. You get to play as a muscle bound super soldier in a side scrolling shoot em, up. I was playing, then a giant worm sprung from the water, it clamped its jaws onto him. I saw his health drain until he was released. I did this until he lost a life. Later on The boss fight Ra had vacuum traps that sucks the Unknown Soldier’s life away. The fantasies grew from there, so, is this normal?
