Is it normal to fear getting kicked out of my house

So, I'm gay and i know for a fact my mother loves me, i also know for a fact she hates gay people..... my dad is also really hard on me and makes fun of gay people and uses gay as an adjective. I know it slips sometimes but he literally does it everyday! I do have some backup if i get kicked out from both residences, though. So is it normal to fear getting kicked out?!?!?

If they love you they won't kick you out. But yes, it's normal to have that fear considering the circumstances.

Gay is a terrific adjective. You'll need thicker skin when you do get out there in the real world. For now just take a genuine interest in your parents lives. Be friendly and nice to be around, and you'll be fine.

You sound as if you are in your late teens. So maybe it's time that you realize that the house you grew up in is soon to be not "your" house. I think it's high time you grew up. You are about to become an adult. News flash: nobody gives a fuck about you being gay but you. You are soon going to be on your own no matter what. So cut the childish "my house" crap. You'll have to get a job, pay your bills, and get your own house, dude. And pretty soon. Those are the facts of life. Welcome to the real world.
