Is it normal to feed a fennec fox an all vegan diet?

Last month, I saw news articles about a vegan activist names Sonia Sae who puts her pet fennec fox, Jumanji on an all vegan diet. Pictures have reached the internet showing Jumanji as very skinny, and Sonia herself even confessed to him going half-blind. Many people, including animal experts are linking the fox's poor health to the vegan diet he is being placed on. However, Sonia argues that there are other reasons for his condition.

Do you think that a fennec fox like Jumanji can be fed an all vegan diet and live a healthy life?

Not cool at all. Humans and foxes eat meat. These vegans are nuts, literally.

Foxes eat meat. Humans eat meat. Doing it is not healthy unless you take good supplements or some stupid thing. Animals arnt human. You don't force a lion to not eat meat. It will get sick and eventually die sooner than it would on a meat based diet

  • Yeah, vegans are nuts. There’s even been a new proposal by some vegan organizations to get all shelter animals on vegan food. If that’s the case, I’m never adopting from a shelter.

Also, where do you live? Hopefully somewhere native to the fox.

You have control issues you most likely need to deal with. Does it validate your choice to be vegan by seeing something else eat the same things as you? You do realize you're sucking the quality of life this fox could have, right from its little body, right? Poor thing will probably end up with rickets...

    • She’s not talking about her fox. Read the paragraph again.
